The system in our country remains to be understood. Freedom of expression seems to be ignored by our authorities that we are supposed to trust and why we still wonder.... Is this to shush us up?
Hardships are now affecting every zimbabwean especially those who have voted for change and we seem to be paying for this in our day to day lives and this has to stop now.
As a zimbabwean, I am frustrated by the system. Our government is supposed to be elected by the people and work for the people, proper rule of law should be fair and not biased. But my fellow zimbabweans who speak out are being persurcuted for speaking out. Where is the democracy? If the system is not working as a citizen of zimbabwe I am allowed to speak out and should not be punished for this.
We have yet to see change, the change that we all vote and vote for again and again. This has not yet happened as per our will but has been forced on us.

Where is the justice? Please free these people, they do not deserve to go through this ordeal.

Our children have suffered enough, and this should stop.

The state is very crazy. I am one of the chaps once arrestted by the state under LOMA in the mid-1990s. I was with one of your lawyers and I am happy he is representing you. Keep up the good work.

I can just repeat what John Halton has said.
I just wanted to tell you how much I admire your courage and your fight for the rights of the people of Zimbabwe.
I hope that the sanctions against your country will get less and that your politicians will be finally willing and able to help the people.
I respect your work very much and I hope you will stay as strong as you are right now.. and I hope that WOZA will get even more support and members in Zimbabwe,
solidary greetings, Jackie

Dear all of you, WOZA/MOZA -

I can't tell you how often I've mean't to write to you, to congratulate you time and again not only for your endless courage but also for the point of it all: your sharp focus and magnificent achievements.

And this latest, engaging the schools in Bulawayo, bowls me over (as did the related February petition to Minister of Education, David Coltart).

I know parents of the children at schools in those areas - know their struggle to continue educating their children, come what may - even sometimes at the risk of not feeding them, as you yourselves point out. And now that you've so specifically espoused their cause, I know they couldn't be in better, more strategically savvy and constructive hands.

Bravo! I salute and hug you for what you're doing for those children and their parents. You engender hope wherever you go!

Dear friends,
I agree with the previous comment, we are not able to imagine the situation of Zimbabwe!
Anyway we are staying close to you, supporting your demonstrations in favour of respect of human rights.
Very, very sad for Susan Tsangirai.
Courage!
Loves from Grenoble, France.

I don't know what to think of Zimbabwe and its politics...very difficult for one who has never visited Africa.

I can't imagine even your situation. But I do like what you write here. I suppose it's hard to dwell on questions to which there are only difficult ambiguous answers.
Thanks for you insights here.

Good luck to you. You seem to have a great spirit from what I can tell of your blog.

Cheers

Please know that there are people all over the world who support WOZA in their peaceful struggle to improve conditions in Zimbabawe. I am doing what I can to help in as sensible, direct and compassionate way. I am urging my friends, family and colleagues to do the same. The power of one. I will continue to pay attention to what is happening and to do what I can, whether it is political advocacy or financial aid to appropriate sources. Blessings upon your work and stay safe. Esmé Comfort, Canmore, Alberta, Canada
